Welcoming You to the Upcoming ISSA Tradeshow in Las Vegas from November 17, 2024, to November 21, 2024.

ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, took a significant step in 2022 by establishing the ISSA Sustainability Committee.

This Committee was formed to develop an accessible, credible, and multifaceted sustainability program for the global cleaning industry, a program that everyone in our industry can be proud of.
It has been my privilege to lead the ISSA Sustainability Committee along with ISSA and a team of top-notch volunteer leaders from all facets of the jansan industry.
Our shared goal has been Identifying and developing resources for ISSA members, such as:
·      Training and educational programs on sustainability
·      Reporting tools
·      Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives
·      Responding to customers' sustainability requests.
Although several sustainability programs exist in different industries, none focus on the unique aspects of the cleaning industry.
ISSA recognizes that while prior initiatives have focused on green products, a gap exists in establishing recognized tools and standards for broader sustainability efforts, such as waste reduction and energy, water, and fuel efficiency.
We are addressing that gap now.
Today, the Committee's membership includes more than 140 industry professionals. Its emerging Leadership Council and Work Groups are actively developing specific programs and value drivers for ISSA members and the entire cleaning industry.
