Green Cleaning Network Partnership in the Middle East Announced

Dubai

The Green Cleaning Network, founded and headed by Steve Ashkin, the “Father of Green Cleaning,” would like to acknowledge the organization’s partnership in the Middle East with U&U Business Solutions, located in the United Arab Emirates.

U&U Business Solutions (U&U), which is approaching ten years old, is a consulting firm. It includes teams of experts made up of LEED Certified Professionals, green consultants, water, and climate change experts, as well as assessors that help organizations better gather data and manage change.

Working with the Green Cleaning Network, U&U is now providing Green Cleaning certification to contract cleaning companies and service providers in key areas of the Middle East.

“Our mission is to expand the global Green cleaning movement in the Middle East,” says Abdul Salam, Managing Director & Chief Mentor of U&U Business Solutions.

“We are doing this by promoting the importance of protecting health through effective cleaning, [while also] using cleaning solutions and products that minimize cleaning’s impact on health and the environment.”

Ashkin adds that he has been working with U&U to “develop strategies, standards, training, and certification programs that touch all parts of the cleaning industry, including cleaning contractors, service providers, product manufacturers, distributors, and facility managers.”

Further, Ashkin is helping U&U to look beyond Green Cleaning and put greater focus on sustainability in business operations.

“I view U&U as a genuine thought leader and key influencer in their part of the world,” adds Ashkin. “The contribution they are making in making the Middle East Greener and more sustainability-focused has already been enormous.”

Ashkin welcomes others to find out more about the Green Cleaning Network in the Middle East. To do so, please contact K. Abdul Salam at abdulsalam@unubs.com.
