Ashkin stated:

The Chinese cleaning industry has the potential to become a global leader in protecting the health of cleaning personnel and building occupants, while simultaneously reducing negative impacts on the environment.

He also believes that the Guangzhou Chapter will be a model that can be followed throughout China and around the globe.

Further, Ashkin stated:

Rather than the ‘race to the bottom’ that only looks at the cheapest approach to cleaning, the Green Cleaning Network will focus on advancing and encouraging innovative green technologies and cleaning for health strategies, along with how the cleaning industry can contribute to a more sustainable future. And to achieve this with a focus that makes sense in the local community.

Feng Tao, JSS CEO and Guangzhou Chapter Chairman of the Green Cleaning Network China and King MICE Cleaning Institute, said “he has a big responsibility to further develop the Green Cleaning movement in South China with the support of the local associations and peers with spreading the mission, values and goals of the Green Cleaning Network China and King MICE Cleaning Institute.”

The guests presented their own positive comments about and support of the initiatives of the Green Cleaning Network and King MICE Cleaning Institute Guangzhou Chapter.

Executives from Guangdong Provincial Property Industry Association, Guangzhou Municipal Property Industry Association, Guangzhou Sanitation Industry Association,

Guangzhou Property Manager Association, and Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) expressed their strong support of the initiatives as well.

According to Thomas King, “the establishment of Guangzhou Chapter of Green Cleaning Network China & King MICE Cleaning Institute marks a significant milestone for the Green Cleaning Movement for protecting the people’s health and environment in China.”
