Are my eyes deceiving me? Is that really an electric Rolls Royce?

Rolls Royce will be introducing its first all-electric model in 2023.

Not only that, RR plans to be net-zero in its operations by 2030 and net-zero company-wide by 2050.

”We believe the call for power to be more sustainable and net-zero carbon will be stronger than ever as we emerge from the aftermath of the pandemic and look to build back better,” according to the company’s annual report.

“We’re not just taking action to protect the environment. We’re re-aligning our strategy towards eco-friendly energy. We see these as growth opportunities for our business in the coming years.”

Sustainability is now a business strategy. It ensures that companies will not only thrive in the future but be here in the future. 

Rolls Royce was founded more than 100 years ago. The company has seen the writing on the wall. To be here another 100 years, they must embrace sustainability as a business strategy.
